Our spacious facilities, built-in amenities and award-winning professional staff make historic Mechanics hall the choice of elegance and sophistication. No matter the season, day of the week, or time of day - you are the center of attention. We book only one event on a wedding day - yours! From the earliest planning stages to the final event, our staff guides you through every detail.
Your ability to select your own caterer and other wedding vendors allows you to customize your menu and accent décor to suit your desires and budget. Stunning bridal photography can be choreographed on the grand staircases, at the pedestal of the Hook Organ, in the Washburn Lobby, and Waldo Lobby, and other elegant locations in Mechanics Hall.
The Great Hall is well-suited for elegant ceremonies as well as receptions. We offer a spacious dance floor and the options of using the Hook Organ or one of our concert grand pianos. For respite and privacy, the bridal party has use of the Board Room or the Dickens Room. Our performance Green Rooms are also suitable for dressing before a ceremony. Our staff is experienced in many ethnic wedding traditions, and for grand or intimate wedding celebrations.
Washburn Hall is the site for most cocktail receptions and is perfect for chamber or jazz ensembles or solo piano to entertain your guests. After the cocktail reception, guests ascend the grand staircase to the Great Hall to enjoy your custom-designed reception."
